About Ellie Teramoto
My photography life started when I was working for a newspaper in New York City in 2005. Back then I was very busy taking pictures of humans and their stories and had no time to visit nature scenes. So my life as a nature photographer started several years later - in the beautiful Lone Star State, Texas.
In Texas, I found myself in the middle of stunning wildflower fields, woke up in the mornings hearing beautiful songs of birds, and encountered many wildlife in my backyard and parks. I was captivated by the abundance of nature and started observing and photographing their life, habitats, and environment.
After I had a body of work from nature scenes, I wanted people to know about this beauty. My works were on display in a lot of juried art shows and exhibitions, and are enjoyed by many collectors and nature lovers.
My journey to tell stories of wildlife and their environment through my photography continues wherever I go. I hope you enjoy what you see.
